  • Ikuko: Makorina, Doujin Bait.
  • Ashley: Cure Kraehe, because of her Painful Transformation. After a certain late-series scene, she's also picked up the nickname Cure Cannibal.
• Germans Love David Hasselhoff: Apparently, the fic is famous around France, after being translated into French on a French fan forum. Not surprising, given that's where The Heroine and her family are from.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • This series was written roughly when Fresh Pretty Cure! was airing... the very next season would be Heart Catch Pretty Cure, which would feature flowers and perfume extensively, an Artificial Human, and even show the girls going to France in the movie. Many found the coincidence exceedingly amusing, especially the author.
  • In episode 32, a Spanish Pretty Cure explains that there are other Pretty Cure teams around the world. A few years later, that would become canon.
  • The main character of this fan fic is named Chloe. In 2015, Smile Pretty Cure! was dubbed as Glitter Force, and Reika's dub name was Chloe.
• Moral Event Horizon: Raflesina making an assassination attempt on Ashley - her own daughter.
• Narm: Ashley eating one of her dead victims in one of the last episodes is a pretty gruesome scene, with the girl tearing the body apart and blood pooling on the floor... Until she grabs a severed finger, "[dips] it in the blood like ketchup," and takes a bite. Then it becomes funny.
• Squick: Ashley going on a murder spree? Sure, whatever, Darker and Edgier. Ashley then eating her victims? Okay, that's just disgusting.
