• Best Known for the Fanservice: Already from the previews, the most talked about scene of the movie is Maddie's Full-Frontal Assault on the teens stealing her and Percy's clothes while skinny-dipping. On top of being memorable for the obvious reasons, many fans do consider it one of the funniest scenes, if not the funniest, in the movie solely for how chaotic and unexpected it is.
• Friendly Fandoms: With Joy Ride, another summer-released raunchy Sex Comedy.
• She Really Can Act: No one would've been surprised to see Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence turn in a great performance, but both critics and audiences were very pleasantly surprised by her involvement, let alone solid comedic timing, in a movie like this. Even the most scathing reviews declare her performance as a highlight of the whole film. Not only does she nail the physical and slapstick comedy she's given, she also turns her usual powerhouse style of performance during the movie's more dramatic and heartfelt scenes and gives Maddie far more nuance than what would be expected from a character like her.
