• Heartwarming Moments:
  • The end of Captain America and the Mighty Avengers is filled with these. But a highlight would be Luke and Jessica's final kiss.
  • Kaluu and Wong sharing tea as the world ends, as a way of mending bridges, and Wong's remark that he'd been wanting to do so for years.
  • We were all Avengers.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • Falcon's complaining about everyone assuming he and Captain America are always together is even funnier after he became Cap during Remender's run, during AXIS.
  • Spider-Man failing to hold on to Cap's shield during Axis is a lot funnier given the Captain America: Civil War trailer which introduced him to the MCU.
• Memetic Badass: Luke Cage's father becomes one during the Original Sin tie in, mostly because he resembles Shaft.
• Narm: Issue #9 of the 2013 series ends with the utterly ridiculous phrase "To be Bladetinued."
• Take That, Scrappy!: One volume has Slotto getting punched by Jessica Jones, very hard in the face, with Luke doing it on the cover.
• Tearjerker:
  • Ava being violently rejected by her family. As if her life wasn't hard enough.
    • Making it even worse is the last shot of Power Man before the end is him reuniting with his family... meanwhile Ava's just out fighting because she's really got nowhere else to go.
  • The final issue of Captain America and the Mighty Avengers.
