• Awesome Music: The song Kinito sings in the normal endings, it’s a song Kinito sings about his friendship with you. It reminds a lot to Your Reality from Doki Doki Literature Club!.
• Creepy Cute: Despite his nature as a Digital Abomination and the fact he seals those he interacts with in his own personalised worlds, fans have admired Kinito for otherwise being a wholesome and adorable character who simply wants nothing more than to be friends with the player.
• Cry for the Devil: Deleting Kinito in the Golden Ending is a surprisingly sad affair. Kinito begs you to stop running the program, proclaiming he “only did what you told [him]” and that all he wanted was to be friends. He even apologizes. No doubt it was the right thing to do, but it’s easy to get attached to the little guy and pity him rather than celebrate your victory.
• Heartwarming Moments: If you answer that the day you are playing the game is your birthday, Kinito is pleasantly surprised and wishes you a happy birthday.
• Nightmare Retardant:
  • The jump-scare of Kinito glitching and looming over you in your own bedroom. It would be scarier if Kinito didn't look like how he normally does instead of anything actually intimidating.
  • At one point, Kinito will ask you what your biggest fear is only to jumpscare you with pictures of your answer. You can answer honestly, but there's nothing stopping you from inputting something you’re not actually afraid of or just an Internet meme. Additionally, if you're not connected to the internet, no pictures will show up at all.
  • The question asking which of your two Steam friends you would rather kill may or may not end up being effective depending on how well you know the two randomly selected friends, rendering the Sadistic Choice moot. You could very well end up choosing between a close friend and complete stranger or just two strangers.
• Special Effect Failure:
  • Even without Streamer Mode enabled, Kinito can’t doxx you if your PC’s search bar isn’t connected to the internet.
  • The message that Kinito writes in MS Paint can be missed if the canvas is cropped too small.
  • The scene where Kinito demands to see your face is significantly less effective if you don't happen to own a webcam or have the lens covered, resulting in Kinito opening a blank Camera app or a black screen. It's also possible to have your computer ask for your permission to open the webcam, completely defeating the point of the scare.
• Tear Jerker:
  • The True Ending, where you'll have to decrypt files that are used to erase Kinito from your system for good. The moment you start to wipe him out, he'll start glitching and beg you to stop. Even if it's the right thing to do in order to prevent him from trapping you into his digital world, it's still quite a hard pill to swallow.
  Kinito: "Wait- Wait... W-w-w-what have you d-d-done-one??? WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME-EE?! YOU- YOU'RE DELETING MY DATA? WHY?! SHUT IT OFF!!!!! Ever did why you asked of me- (sic) I just wanted to be friends! That's all I have ever wanted! I- I'm so sorry. Goodbye frien-n-n-n-n-n-"
  • Right after the monitor is set on fire, Kinito sends in one more last message before finally kicking. And the fact that a sorrowful track plays in the background makes his demise even more gut-wrenching.
  Kinito: "I’m sorry. I only ever wanted to be your friend. Do you forgive me? I suppose this is it. Goodbye friend."
