YMMV / Here Comes Peter Cottontail

• Evil Is Cool: Irontail, whose a cranky, scheming goth rabbit voiced by Vincent Price so this isn't that surprising.
• Heartwarming Moments:
  • Peter finding Bonny a home.
  • Donna giving Peter a kiss at the end.
• Hilarious in Hindsight:
  • The whole plot of a figure from one holiday visiting other holidays and trying to take them over in the style of his own holiday brings to mind a certain later cult classic that's also in stop-motion animation. Especially when Antoine exclaims "This is Halloween!" when he and Peter land in that holiday.
  • Vincent Price voicing a villainous, megalomaniacal small animal with primarily gray fur who wears black clothing and has a bat henchman? Where have I seen this before?
• Love to Hate: Irontail. He's capable of being genuinely frightening at times, and can be entertaining at others due to his Large Ham personality, even if at times it goes a bit too far. Makes sense given he's voiced by Vincent Price.
• Narm Charm: Large Ham Card-Carrying Villain January Q. Irontail. What else do you expect from Vincent Price?
• Nightmare Fuel: As funny as Irontail is, he has some moments that make him seem genuinely frightening. Again, what do expect from Vincent Price?
  Seymour S. Sassafrass: (speaking of Peter Cottontail) You mean you've never heard how he almost lost the job? (as the music takes on a minor key and tone) You actually mean you've never heard how a terrible, wicked, nasty rabbit named Irontail almost became the Easter Bunny?
• Tear Jerker:
  • Peter leaving April Valley after his carelessness leads to Irontail taking over, crying as he wanders through the rain and vowing to make up for his mistake but not knowing how.
  • You can't help but feel sorry for Donna, the female bunny that Peter Cottontail meets when he arrives at a place dedicated to Valentine's Day and is later seen crying as he leaves her behind because Irontail turned all the eggs green. She later returns during the ending where Peter gives her a flower.
