  • First, we have Liara T'Soni and Power Woman
    • The second Power Woman, Donna, and Captain America.
  • Liara's mother Benezia gets in on the action with Metroid's Samus Aran.
    • After, Benezia's death, there's some Ship Tease between Samus and her physical therapist, Gabrielle Carlotti.
  • Tali'Zorah and Future Trunks have had some Ship Tease moments. And eventually, they have a Relationship Upgrade.
  • Miranda Lawson and Rip Hunter were married before her death in his backstory.
  • During the Reaper War, James T. Kirk and Yoko Usami start a romance and eventually marry after the war's end.
  • Vin and Galen Marek will get together down the line, as proven by Katie's existence.
  • Tai and Rika.
  • Yondu and Aria T'Loak.
• Jerkass Woobie:
  • The batarians start as unrepentant arrogant slavers. Then they get major cities on the home world nuked and are occupied by the Space Pirates and later the Romulans. All in the space of about a year.
  • The Harvesters have committed numerous genocides, but then you find out that they barely survived the last Reaper harvest and even now they treat the Reapers with as much fear as they do hatred. You see them in a different light at that point.
