YMMV / DC Showcase: Catwoman

• Best Known for the Fanservice: This short is well-known as the one where Catwoman strips herself partially naked at a strip club.
• Complete Monster: Rough Cut is a diamond smuggler who has taken up human trafficking. Kidnapping a dozen women at a time, Rough Cut has them placed in crates and sold into slavery. When his gang abducts teenager Holly Robinson, her friend Catwoman pursues them. She finds them trying to kill a cat for the jewels on its collar, and ends up chasing them. Rough Cut makes a semi truck crash in the hopes it will kill his enemy, before offering her a 10% cut if she leaves him alone.
• Crowning Moment of Heartwarming: The ending, where Selina was revealed to have been rescuing her surrogate sister Holly all along, and she even provides her with the stolen diamonds she took off of Rough Cut so the poor girl can start her new life somewhere else away from Gotham. All topped off with Selina kissing her goodbye one last time.
• Evil Is Cool: Catwoman riding a motorcycle on a speedy freeway and taking on a brutish mob boss with her bare claws in a battle to the death. How is that not awesome?
• Genius Bonus: At first glance, Rough Cut's goons seem to be trying to kill a stray cat to take its gold collar for cheap cash, but it's latter revealed that the feline was actually carrying a message from Holly Robinson for Selina. Meaning that the thugs were really trying to kill it to prevent their human-trafficking operation from getting exposed.
• Moral Event Horizon: Even before Rough Cut's true motivation is exposed, his first villainous deed in the short film is ordering his goons to murder a cat for carrying a message from one of his slaves to Selina.
