YMMV / Bullet to the Head

• Cliché Storm: The plot is so formulatic and dialogues so packed with one-liners and Casual Danger Dialogue it borders on Narm. Luckily, the screenplay is aware of that and most of the clichés are lampshaded in dialogues.
• Designated Hero: Jimmy. He managed to kill everyone on his way, while detective Kwon was his side-kick and got away scot-free. It's even lampshaded earlier in a dialogue between Taylor and Lisa.
• Complete Monster: Keegan is an arrogant murderer who opens the film killing the partner of Jimmy Bobo. A killer who revels in bloodshed for the sake of his pride, Keegan regularly kills all in his path for jobs, killing a mobster and everyone with him. When Jimmy makes it personal between them by outsmarting Keegan, Keegan kidnaps his daughter, brutalizing or killing those with her, so he might murder her if Jimmy doesn't give him a fight. Upon his employer Morel simply letting Jimmy go in a trade, Keegan murders him so he might engage Jimmy in a fight.
• Magnificent Bastard: Jimmy Bobo is a Professional Killer who opens the film assassinating a corrupt cop but sparing an innocent prostitute. When he realizes he is seen as expendable by corrupt businessman Morel, Jimmy goes to war to get his hands on Morel's dealings, luring the mercenary hitman Keegan and his squad into a trap and blowing up his cabin to kill all save the escaping Keegan. Clearing his way through Morel's men and using his flash drive to bargain for the life of his daughter from Morel, Jimmy proceeds to face the unhappy Keegan in a fight to the death in which Jimmy wins by fighting smarter and pulling a knife. To spare his detective ally Kwon from any questions regarding their team up, Jimmy shoots him in the shoulder just to make it look like Kwon tried to stop him.
• Narm Charm: Actively invoked most of the time. Whenever something straight from B-class movie happens, it will be either discussed or at least lampshaded.
