• Alternate Character Interpretation: Given, considering it's a fan-work, but it gives some of the characters a lighter side or a darker side, depending on how they were portrayed in canon. For starters: Eridan is still a bit of a tool with an overdramatic flair but you can't help but feel sorry for the guy. Nepeta is still the adorably cute cat girl with a love of shipping, except the Shipping Goggles make he play The Matchmaker with tragic consequences. Vriska's still a 8luh 8luh huge bitch but is portrayed as more of a Broken Bird with tragic feelings. Terezi is still crazy and lovable, but she isn't above being completely cutthroat and was the one to deliberately break Vriska when she noticed her flushed crush for Karkat... by kissing him while they were typing on Trollian, causing Karkat to go flushed for Terezi and remain black for Vriska.
• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: Several one-off gags from the author somehow made it into the mirror, thus becoming this.
• Crack Ship: Several. But the best has to be Crabdad/Seahorsedad
  • Rhosyn Lalond<>Troll Deadpool. No, seriously.
  • Recent ramblings in the discussion thread about a moirallegiance-like relationship known as "lessrails", based on mutual hatred propelling two trolls to become better via competition rather than pitying one another and restraining each other's violent tendencies, has manifested in the actual use of "lessrails" in the comic as the best way to describe the relationship between Suweet Broski and Hellza Jeffan.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: Cuvier Safiro, the leader of IRIS, has become very popular with the fandom.
• Fan Nickname:
  • The insane gold blood outside SUBjugglatorWAY was nicknamed Travos by a commenter poking fun at a command ordering (the misspelled) Tavros to "cull this birdbrain this instant." It stuck, and is now the character's only recognizable name.
  • Similarly, Cuvier and Eridan on their drunken shenanigans received the nickname Team Saltwater Grape Taffy, or TSWaGT.
• Memetic Mutation:
  • Green Sun'ing suggestions. (It helps that the MSPA forums automatically convert it to flashing green text.)
  • Drawing Cuvier-style shutter shades on random people, particularly as an avatar. (YMMV on whether this quite qualifies as a meme.)
• Moe: Altari Ananth. So. Much.
• Nightmare Fuel: Troll Britain's First Guardian. A car, a sports star, and a rainbow drinker combined...but without the troll component of each.
  • Taken up to eleven when she possesses Sollux's dead body.
  • Rhosyn's "chaos" speech also comes to mind.
  • As does the Psiioniic's condition.
  • Engage Equius vision. When the reader gets a POV shot of what Equius is seeing when he looks at a sober Gamzee, they get a face full of crazy-eye-spirals and a manic, malicious grin. Equius understandably has to step outside the room after seeing this.
  • Everything about Suweet Broski. Just read this page. All of it.
