• Hilarious in Hindsight: Sekitsuki Yoshiho, an Academy student alongside Takeo, had this to say in Nature Transformation class. “I’m really hoping for water, that’d be super cool! Get some mist up, some water clones to protect me and then use genjutsu class to really put the hurt on some people!” Water would end up being Takeo's affinity and Sekitsuki's ideas would end up being his own strategies in battles.
• Memetic Badass: Baki is the strongest shinobi in this quest, and can solo anyone else.
• Memetic Loser: Orochimaru, whenever he is fought, gets constantly beaten and can't catch a break due to abysmal rolls. He loses an arm to Kakashi, gets beaten and is forced to retreat from Jiraiya and forced to reveal he has the Sharingan, and dies in the Otogakure raid offscreen. Chat has taken to belittling the snake at every opportunity.
• Memetic Psychopath: Takeo Chiba wants nothing more than to slaughter the enemies of Konoha and commit multiple war crimes. Memes have Takeo compared to both Patrick Bateman and Yoshikage Kira.
• Rescued from the Scrappy Heap: Danzo, who is especially hated in canon for having no redeeming qualities, is a contender for most favorite character in this story due to his mentoring of Takeo and belief in the Will of Fire.
• Ship-to-Ship Combat: Temari vs. Sakura is the big one. Supporters of Temari love her interactions with Takeo as well as the idea of romancing the potential Kazekage. Supporters of Sakura love her new personality and enjoy that she appears in person more frequently than Temari. The fighting ended after all three entered a polyamorous relationship after Sakura and Temari realized they were as into each other as they were Takeo.
• Ships That Pass in the Night:
  • Hoheto and Kurenai, two characters who never met in canon, end up getting together after multiple interactions as jonin senseis.
  • After having impressed one another in their fight at Suna's Chunin Exam, Sasuke and Tenten start dating, with the only hint of this couple happening in canon was that Tenten thought that Sasuke was cute when they first met.
