Provides examples of:

  • Abusive Parents: Mary-Sue is somewhat abusive towards Lilith in the first chapter.
  • Affectionate Nickname: Dirk calls Lilith "Lils", and Dustin calls Angela "Ange".
    • In chapter two, Daniel and Jennifer refer to each other as "Danny" and "Jen" respectively. Jennifer stops calling Daniel "Danny" when she's angry at him.
    • Lucy refers to her cousins as "Angie" and "Lily".
    • John and Jennifer call each other "Johnny" and "Jen".
  • Alliterative Name: Dirk Dreamer, Lilith's boyfriend.
  • Boyish Short Hair: Lilith's hair in this story is much shorter than it is in the game.
  • Dysfunctional Family: The Pleasants.
  • Genki Girl: Lucy could count.
  • Happily Married: John and Jennifer have good communication and a strong relationship.
  • Love Dodecahedron: As in the original game. Daniel is married to Mary-Sue, but is cheating on her with Kaylynn. Kaylynn has a relationship with Don Lothario, who is engaged to Cassandra Goth, while also cheating on her with Nina Caliente. He also has a crush on Nina's sister Dina, who is in love with Cassandra's elderly father, Mortimer. To top it off, Darren Dreamer is in love with Cassandra.

  • Love Triangle: Heaps of them.
  • May–December Romance: The relationship between Mortimer and Dina.
  • Meaningful Name: Angela and Lilith are "angel" and "demon" respectively.
  • Official Couple: Angela/Dustin and Lilith/Dirk, as in the game.
  • Slut-Shaming: The attitude towards Romance Sims could count as this, though Daniel did cheat on his wife, so it's justified.
  • Tomboy and Girly Girl: The Pleasant Twins, Lilith and Angela, respectively.
  • Your Cheating Heart: Daniel is cheating on his wife, Mary-Sue, with the maid, Kaylynn.
    • Don is cheating on his fiance, Cassandra, with his first lover, Nina.
