A series of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron machinimas produced by JOHNNYFLASH. They are mostly affectionate parodies of the games with a broad strokes continuity sometimes referred to in some videos. The series include Q&A videos with various Autobots and Decepticons, some reactions of various faction to Real Life Transformers-related events, humorous plot-driven narratives such as Transformers/Jurrasic World and, occasionally, serious narrative, most notable the Nemesis Prime Saga.

Machinimas can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/user/200PoundsOfBeauty/videos

JOHNNYFLASH's Machinimas provide examples of:

  • Adaptational Jerkass: Downplayed. While Optimus Prime is still a respected and kind Autobot leader, as well as understanding one, he's also more prone to rude comments and use of dark humor, and is considerably more self-aggrandizing.
  • Adaptational Villainy:
    • Wheeljack, while usually is depicted as a mad scientist, in Machinimas is also an opportunist, not unlike Swindle, creating advertisements of his highly unethical inventions such as Terrorcon Zombie or the Cybercorruptor, both powered by the Dark Energon, that he could sell to both Autobots and Decepticons.
    • Nemesis Prime, used to be a one-off villain in the canon franchise, is Optimus Prime after his Face–Heel Turn caused by Wheeljack's Cybercorruptor that caused him to become a One-Man Army who eliminated Autobot forces, took over the Decepticons, left without a leader as the Decepticon High Command became victims of the Cybercorruptor as well, and by the time of The Last Prime, being dangerously close to overrunning the Autobots.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Soundwave is the most personable of Decepticon commanders in Machinimas, joking around with other Decepticons as his equals in his free time.
  • Art Shift: Wheeljack's advertisements include fully animated 2D-segments, also that style is used when Jazz raps at the end of his Q&A video.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: Among the Decepticons, Starscream is usually the laughing stock hardly taken seriously, even though he is a second-in-command of the Decepticons and shows himself competent in Transformers/Jurrasic World. In videos that show what Decepticons and Insecticons are doing in their free time, Shockwave also often become a target of the jokes despite being the chief scientist, though in case of Insecticons, takes sweet revenge by blasting them out of the window.
  • Genius Ditz: Played with Grimlock is typically child and dim witted but his split personality is super intelligent and very eloquent.
  • Knight of Cerebus: Nemesis Prime in the Nemesis Prime Saga, as well as the Goliath and Zeta Prime in Project Goliath.
  • Mad Scientist: Autobots and Decepticons each have one.
    • Shockwave is the Decepticon Mad Scientist, responsible for unleashing an army of Dinobots during Transformers/Jurrasic World, that was supposed to crush the Autobots, but malfunctioned and turned on the Decepticons themselves. And, as shown in the video that shows what Autobots are doing in their free time, experimenting on Grimlock in line with Fall of Cybertron narrative.
    • Wheeljack is the Autobot Mad Scientist, responsible for creating Terrorcon Zombies and the Cybercorruptor, the latter of which created Nemesis Prime. Unlike Shockwave, though, rather than use his inventions to give his faction an advantage, Wheeljack monetizes them, willing to sell the weaponry to the highest bidder, no matter the collateral damage.
  • Mood Whiplash:
    • Rise of Nemesis Prime starts with Wheeljack showing off his newest mad invention trying to sell it to the viewer but that is derailed when his cybercorruptor hits Optimus and converts him to murderous Nemesis Prime who offs the personnel entire Autobot base in brutal fashion, including Ratchet, Bumblebee and Wheeljack himself.
    • Starscream Q&A video is as humorous as they come, but it contains an unexpectedly melancholic moment when he's reminded of an occasion where he was betrayed by a friend and, thus, refuses to let himself be betrayed again. (alluding to G1 Skyfire's betrayal)
    • In "What Autobots Do In Their Free Time" it's mostly just Autobots exchanging jokes, but when Grimlock is reminded of Shockwave's optic he has a traumatic flashback to when Shockwave rather brutally experimented on him.
  • Omnicidal Maniac: As he reveals to Jazz in The Last Prime, Nemesis Prime's endgame is to eliminate not only the Autobots, but all the Decepticons as well, to end the cycle of violence on Cybertron.
  • Once Done, Never Forgotten: Played for laughs and Deconstructed. Whenever they bring Hot Rod’s interference in the 80’s movie. In the fall of Hot Rod we see Hot Rod has confidence issues and stress because of it needing to get help from his mentor Kup.
  • Running Joke: In "What X Do In Their Free Time" the last joke includes the commanding officer of that group, who then goes Right Behind Me on the joker and immediately retaliates.
  • Sequel Hook: The fall of Hot Rod ended with Kup doing a Heroic sacrifice so Hot Rod could escape. The last Prime ends with a possible evil vs evil stand off with Megatron and Nemesis prime.
  • Undying Loyalty: Soundwave, as per usual. Notable, this aspect of his personality couldn't even be affected by Wheeljack's Cybercorruptor, while it did managed subvert such fundamental character qualities as Starscream's treachery and Shockwave's logic.
