Eskimo Bob and his best friend Alfonzo.

Eskimo Bob. Eskimo Bob. Eats raw fish. Eskimo Bob. Eskimo Bob. He is...<insert a quote from a previous episode here, or just Bob belching loudly>...cool!
—The intro song

Eskimo Bob (or ''Eskimo Bob, starring Alfonzo) is a web animation made in Flash created by Alan and Tomas Gunian and began its start on Newgrounds in the early 2000s. The series features two Eskimo characters, namely Bob (voiced by Alan) and Alfonzo (voiced by Tomas) and their daily adventures in the frozen north. The series is also rife with nods and references to various things from the Gunian brothers' childhood, and the series still lives on. The series has spanned five seasons with fifty plus episodes, a few extra shorts from the brothers, and even an NES-style platform game on Steam.

This cartoon provides examples of:

  • Arc Number: Every 13 episodes there's some big event that happens.
    • Episode 13: The Wrath of the Penguin: Eskimo Bob meets Dragon Ball Z.
    • Episode 26: Return of the Girl: Eskimo Bob meets Transformers.
    • Episode 39: The Swarm: Yuck's ultimate plan to destroy the sun. It fails when the Sun burns Yuck alive, returning all the Yuck clones back to bird poop, and leaving the original Yuck floating in space.
    • Episode 52: S.O.S. Ottawa: Eskimo Bob meets Kaiju movies.
  • Animation Bump: While the series looks the same as it did back then, later episodes flow much smoother than earlier ones.
  • Black Bead Eyes: Most characters sport this alongside a single lowered eyebrow.
  • Christmas Episode: Quite a few, namely 20, 30, 44, 50, 56, and 57.
  • Couch Gag: The intro usually has Bob belching loudly, but this is sometimes replaced by a quote from a previous episode.
  • Creator Cameo: Tomas and Alan appear as themselves in some episodes.
  • Eskimo Land: Natch.
  • Floating Limbs: Most characters sport this, with the exception of ones like Yuck.
  • Toilet Humor: In minor cases. Eskimo Bob is rife with belching and poop jokes, but not to the point of over-saturation.
