If part of the merging of realms allowed for magic to be potentially studied by...whomever the armies now have, then a way to get Marcy on side is to ask for her assistance in combining magic and their own technical prowess. Which...would be another dream come true for a nerd like her. The respective residents of the Demon Realm and the residents of Amphibia will NOT be on good terms with each other when the girls show up
As the girls are settling into their new environment, they will find that magic-users/demons and amphibians do not regard one another with high esteem, being uneasy and untrusting at best and outright hostile at worst. The general populace of Amphibia will see magic-users as Entitled Bastards who feel free to take what they want whenever they like simply because of their knowledge of magic, and regard amphibians as mere animals to look down upon. On the other hand, magic-users will view amphibians as swamp-dwelling savages who are jealous of their mastery of the mystic arts and wish to either take their magic for themselves or kill them to prove they are the superior species. Continuing on from the above WMG, Anne and Luz will end up in conflict with each other by hearing about a mysterious warrior/witch fighting for the other side. And part of creating a new world order for the realms is breaking through that both sides rather need an Enemy Mine against even greater evils than those Inherent in the System. The 4 girls will be sent to Amphibia/The Owl House in 2 stages
That in a twist of In Spite of a Nail, on the fateful day of destiny (Anne's Birthday), The manipulations of Sasha and Marcy will still happen. However, Luz will show some reservations to going so far as to steal something. Saying that this isn't was heroes or good girls should do. At which point, she'll be turned on, and Anne won't have enough spine to stand up for Luz. So, she'll be left out of it all, but witness the Calamity Box activating from afar, sending the 3 girls off on their magical adventure. Luz will swear up and down that "My best friends magically disappeared when they opened what looked like a music box!" But because "Magic isn't real", her mom will think she's regressing into herself out of trauma, and thus the situation of the opening of The Owl House will be enacted. But with a more tragic connotation of Camila being at her wits end in trying to heal Luz from losing the only friends she's had in a while. King Andrias and Emperor Belos will go to war with each other
Andrias will initially side with Belos so he can conquer the wild magic-free utopia Belos hopes to rule, but Belos will discover the Leviathan family's true nature as Multiversal Conquerors and betray Andrias before trying to steal the Calamity Box. As a result, Andrias will attempt to stop the Day of Unity himself, forming a sort-of Enemy Mine with the heroes in the process.
