WMG / Friends And The High Council Star Wars

Go To

It was a quiet day when Zeus discovered a new universe portal. This one however was connected to an old aquaintance of his. This was the world of Master Yoda, in a galaxy far far away...and unfortunately, the friends had already entered this world through the mysterious power known as the dark side of the force. Quickly rallying men from across time, space and planets, the fights in this universe are among the fiercest and most dangerous of all.

Friends and their allies
The Dark Side: While the dark side in of itself isn't a person or a friend or even a demon, it is a conduit. Like a lightning rod, the friends entered the star wars universe using the dark side to corrupt the force to its core, seeking to bring the galaxy into ruin and chaos for their benefit.

The Sith Council

Darth Bane: Senior member of the Council, Darth Bane was the man who created the Rule of Two for the Sith to survive. As of such, he was partially responsible for allowing the sith to survive in the shadows for thousands of years. He lived a long life scheming, and upon his death, the friends named him senior advisory to the sith council, in order to counter the spirits of the Jedi on the other side.

Emperor Palpatine/Darth Sidious: Darth Sideous was easily the most powerful and dangerous of the clients the friends had before the high council could enter the world. The Chessmaster, Evil Mentor and a Complete Monster all rolled into one, Palpatine was contacted by Chernabog for a deal of galactic potential. Chernabog would give sideous charisma greater than most any of his clients, and in turn, Chernabog demanded of him, "Give me an army worthy of my power, and destroy the Jedi Order!" As it turns out, Palpatine was a very powerful client of the Friends, as was Anakin after his Faceā€“Heel Turn. The Death Star, armor changes for the clone troopers into stormtroopers, thousands of battleships, and dark side powers were in fact deals made with the Friends for a large amount of souls. After the emperor was slain by a repentant Anakin, so much use of his dark powers had practically mutated his soul into becoming a Eldritch Abomination Arch-Demon.

Onimi:

Sith OverseersNot as high ranked as the overcouncil, but generals and extensions of their will.

Darth Malak

General Grievous: One of Palpatine's strongest minions until Darth Vader came along. He gained his robotic body from a combined effort of the Banking Clan AND the Friends to create the perfect droid general in the Separatist army. Augmented with rage amplifiers, the friends promised him a mind like no other. All he had to do was destroy the republic. As Darth Sideous was playing both sides, he never knew his master was the leader of the opposing faction, but carried out his acts with such brutality and efficiency that the friends gave him the powers to survive death several times over, and assigned Darth Tyranus to teach him the art of lightsaber combat in order to make him a perfect "supersoldier" of sorts.

  • Unfortunately, as the war dragged on, Grevious's many Moral Event Horizon moments slowly ate away at his mind, weakening his military cunning. While he could have moments of brilliance, his inability to macro-manage the separatist armies effectively often left him in less than flattering situations. Furthermore, the republic's jedi leadership eventually pushed many of his forces to the outer rim, though not without heavy losses.
  • Then came the battle of Couresaunt. A special test by Darth Sideous, he planned to reveal himself once kidnapped by Grievous if the general could escape with him during the key battle in the war. While Grievous's massive assault on the capital was successful at first, eventually the space battle above the planet lead to the loss of his flagship: The Invisible Hand. Disappointed that the general couldn't finish his knock-out blow to the republic, Sideous decided that he would let the republic win the war, and set in motion events that would eventually lead to his death at the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Durge: A skilled bounty hunter, Durge was practically unkillable, with a variety of weapons and skills at his disposal to fight the jedi. A daring tactician, he would make use of unconventional tactics in battle to try and turn the tide in the separatist favor. However, when he was flung into the sun, the friends collected his soul, as they felt he had no further use for them.

Overlord Shimmera:

Warmaster Tzavong Lah:

UnderlingsThe lowest of the low. Mooks and those deemed "expendable" after their death.

Stormtroopers: Originally clone troopers, these merciless henchmen show no mercy to anyone, and only show loyalty to the Emperor. Under the command of Darth Vader, They will carry out Palpatine's plans without question, and continue to cause trouble for the High Council.

B1 Battledroids: Easily the most worthless of the soldiers under the friends influence. Not so much for their blasters and targeting computers, but because they could fall apart at almost no provocation, and their lack of processing speed also leads to problems with their use. On the other hand, their Zerg Rush tactics can be brutally effective due to their cheap and quick manufacturing cycle.

  • Deemed unnecessary once the stormtroopers were born, palpatine ordered their deactivation since he didn't need them anymore. However, as the war with the high council began to grow more intense, talks are circulating in the friend's ranks to reintroduce them.

B2 "super" battledroids: covered in an extra plating, B2 battledroids are slightly more effective being tougher and with stronger processing chips then their counterparts. Their wrist mounted blaster also allows for more accurate shots, and in large groups, they proved capable of killing even Jedi.

Droidekas: Droids with shields. Possibly the most irritating of the droid foot soldiers, droidekas can deflect most blaster fire off their shields, meaning they could easily fight jedi to a standstill. Decommissioned after the clone wars, they found use again when Palpatine decided it was about time to bring them back for the wars.

The Separatist Council: A collection of powerful corporate entities, this council formed a government seeking to overthrow the "corrupt" republic. Representation included groups such as the Techno Union, the Trade Federation, the Genonsian hive, the Commerce Guild, the IG banking Clan and a collection of planets sick of republic rule. However, Palpatine was merely using them for their wealth to fight the war in order to see which side he'd control in the future. When he realized that the fatigue of war meant they were more interested in peace rather than profit in the future, and after the battle of couresaunt, Palpatine decided to wipe them out to the last man on Mustafar.

The Dark Troopers: Mighty droids, designed as super soldiers for palpatine's army, they held great promise in the field tests. Unfortunately, Kyle Kataran's destruction of their facilities meant that bringing them to the front proved...difficult.

Allies of the high council

Yoda: Grandmaster of the jedi council, Yoda was a wise, somewhat eccentric, somewhat grizzled little green alien with a lifespan of over 900 years. He was a powerful jedi warrior, a wise master, and a stern mentor. However, he at times could be unsympathetic, aloof or overly intellectual in his dealings with others. And his wisdom and strength could not save his order from the Great Jedi Purge that happened in his lifetime. Exiling himself to Dagobah after his failure to kill emperor palpatine, he trained one last student there: Luke Skywalker. After which, he passed away, and became one with the force. Yoda still travels the galaxy, occasionally showing up in dreams and visions to give advice to the jedi of his future, and He acts as Zeus's contact in this reality due to their previous history. However, he also realizes that the galaxy has become too war torn, and the jedi order has evolved too far for him to easily step back into things, so he mostly tries to keep from directly interfering in the conflict, except for when he's called upon to fight the dark side.

Luke Skywalker: The son of Anakin Skywalker, Luke grew up under his uncle owen and aunt beru (technically step-uncle). On his 19th year though, he was called into a wider world, and through his piloting skills, willingness to grow and mastery of the force, saved the galaxy from the empire. Although the empire was hurt after the battle of endor, Luke would remain active in the years following, not only founding the new jedi order, but fighting imperial warlords and even getting married. Luke would remain active all the years of his life, even having a son, and upon his death, becoming one with the force, just like his mentor Obi-Wan before him.

Leia Amidala Organa Skywalker Solo: The younger sister of the skywalker fraternal twins, Leia was raised by a politician, and thus was unaware of her jedi origin. She took after her mother in that sense, becoming a leader among the rebel alliance, and eventually rising to be chief of state with the founding of the new republic. However, as she became a mother of 3 children, politics began wearing her down, and she stepped away from her high position, focusing instead of helping mediate conflict, and to get the jedi training she never had from her brother.

Han Solo: While he used to be a Chaotic Neutral smuggler, the Galactic Civil War eventually dragged him into the conflict. His contacts with the smugglers were later used to the alliance's benefit, and his quick instincts meant that he served as a handy field general in operations. Han would live a long, productive life, snarking, fighting aliens and flying spaceships. While he never got into politics, he did play major roles in several political struggles along the way.

Chewbacca:

Obi Wan Kenobi: Hero of the clone wars, Obi Wan Ben Kenobi was a Jedi Knight under training from Qui Gon Jinn and trained Anakin Skywaker and later his son in the ways of the force. But after Anakin's betrayal of the jedi order he fled to Tatooine, where he hid and later trained Luke Skywalker. During the mision to rescue Princess Leia,he faced his former apprentice and let himself be killed so Luke and his friends could escape. But that was not the end of Obi Wan. He returned as a ghost and guided Luke to his destiny. Nowadays he has become one with the force and will give advice to any ally of the High Council who needs it.

Jaina Solo:

Zekk: A mighty jedi warrior, and Jaina's favorite man. Zekk was originally an orphan, having fun with the twins whenever they were on courasaunt. However, fate had other plans for him, and he was thrown into the shadow academy conflict head first as a dark jedi.

The Clone Remnant: When the forces of the empire took over, they held the planet Kamino with an iron fist, and forced the people there to create solders for them to fight for the Friends, but then the Kamino cloners rebelled and created the Clone Remnant: A group of clones that would oppose the Friends and free the galaxy. But after a crushing defeat at the hands of the Empire they where nearly destroyed. All hope seemed lost until they gained the help of the High Council, who helped them in their mission. Now they are working with the Rebel Alliance to create a better future for the galaxy.

The Rebel Alliance:

The Galactic Alliance:

Mara Jade Skywalker: Luke Skywalker's former wife. Mara Jade was a woman trained to be a great assassin for the empire.

Ben Skywalker:

Kol Skywalker:

Cade Skywalker:

Unaligned but with History of Involvement
Assaj Ventress:

Boba Fett: A mercenary clone of Jango Fett, this bounty hunter has worked for both the Friends AND the High Council. During the days of the Empire, Boba Fett was hired by the friends to take on Luke Skywalker and his Ragtag bunch of misfits. During a battle with them on Tatooine, he was launched into the Sarlacc pit and was eaten before managing to climb out alive. During the war with the Yuuzhan Vong Empire, Boba Fett supported the High Council during the conflict. In the end, Boba Fett can best be described as a True Neutral who is in it for one man: Himself.

Darth Caedus: Easily the second most tragic sith case, Darth Caedus was once none other than Jacen Solo: Eldest son of Han and Leia Solo. Jacen was once a friendly and well meaning Jedi knight who loved animals, and built a green lightsaber, helping his sister to defeat countless threats to the republic. Even in the war with the Yuzhan Vong, he was instrumental to their victory, escaping captivity and even helping to rally the jedi in their final assault against Omni. He also began meditation on the nature of the force, something both sides were watching with great interest to see what direction Jacen's studies would take him.

  • Unfortunately, then the 2nd correlian conflict rolled around, and Jacen's new desire to bring order to the chaotic galaxy slowly corrupted him. Slowly rising through the ranks, he finally snapped after he killed his aunt Mara Jade Skywalker. Realizing he was now a true sith under his Evil Mentor Lumiyara. He brought fire and brutality upon the galaxy in his desire to bring peace, crossing several Moral Event Horizon moments. Thus, did darth caedus bring all the galaxy against him, dragging him into defeat and death at the hands of his own sister.
  • And yet, in death, he managed to purge his hate from his spirit. While he did not become absorbed into the sith council, his soul was too corrupted to be allowed with the Jedi spirits. So, he wanders the galaxy, trying to determine whether Jacen Solo shall exist as a hero or a villain.
