Taimanin RPG Extasy is an Eastern RPG developed by Infini-Brain Inc. based on the Black Lilith's Taimanin franchise. The game was initially only released in Japan on September 25, 2018, as Taimanin RPG but released globally as Taimanin RPG Extasy on October 25, 2023.
One day at Gosha Academy, Kotaro Fuma, who was born into the noble Fuma Clan but cannot use Ninja Arts, was enjoying a day at school like any other. Later on the same day, the academy is raided, and Kotaro, together with his friends, Hebiko Aishu and Shikanosuke Uehara, puts a dent in it with his strategic thinking. He is then appointed as the captain of an Independent Commando Unit by Headmistress Asagi Igawa, and together with his companions sets out to find the truth behind the incident.
Taimanin RPG Extasy contains examples of:
- Alternate Universe: RPGX takes place in its own separate universe from the visual novels. The same can be said with Action Taimanin. Some of the characters debuting in RPGX would also appear Action in later updates of the latter game.
- Big Damn Heroes: When it seems all is lost for the Independent Commando Unit, they get saved by other Taimanins on two separate occasions in chapter 2.
- Guest Fighter: The game featured characters from Black Lagoon in the form of Revy and Balalaika as part of a collaboration.
- Self-Censored Release: The censored release contains no hentai scenes, and some of the characters have additional coverings on their clothes.
- Play Every Day: The game has several daily and weekly challenges that encourage the player to play every day.
- Wolverine Publicity: Asagi is the Taimanin franchise's Series Mascot. She has more or less little amount of screentime for most of the game's main storyline and side quests. This also applies to her Action Taimanin counterpart.
