Creepypasta Land Reimagined is a 2023 Fan Remake of Creepypasta Land created by German developer Dimenarius.

The game was created with the aim of expanding upon the story of the original and improving the gameplay through the implementation of Quick Time Events and several choices the player can make that may affect how the story goes. Dimenarius also rewrote all of the dialogue with vastly improved grammar and several stylistic changes.

The game can be downloaded here.

This game contains examples of:

  • Action Girl: Sally is more than capable of holding her own against the Creepypasta characters, at one point fighting her way past a multitude of them to rescue an injured Ben.
  • Actionized Adaptation: In light of the game's frequent use of Quick Time Events, many of the action/chase sequences are largely expanded and given more depth, as well as a few entirely new ones being added. Special mention goes to the Final Boss, which went from a simple Cutscene Boss in the original to a long multi-stage QTE sequence where the player must fight the Big Bad head-on while Ben and Sally deal with his minions.
  • Adaptational Badass:
    • The three main characters are capable of physically engaging the Creepypasta characters and successfully fight them off multiple times. Special mention goes to the protagonist, who at one point beats back the likes of Slenderman and the Rake with nothing but Good Old Fisticuffs.
    • Mephistopheles puts up a much better fight against the heroes than in the original. He first sics Jeff on the protagonist. When that doesn't work, he separates the protagonist from Ben and Sally and engages them directly leading to a long and protracted QTE sequence where he assaults the protagonist with Hellfire and tanks several blows from the Holy Power. In the end, it takes the combined strength of the protagonist, Ben, Sally, and Dee, assisted by one last blow from Jeff, to finally bring him down.
  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Sally's psychotic tendencies are toned down from the original. She never threatens to kill the protagonist or Ben (barring one possible scenario where the player intentionally chooses to push her buttons one too many times) and more focus is put on her sympathetic side.
  • Adapted Out: The Fourth Wall Demon and Jane the Killer are completely removed from the game due to the abandoned house's redesign. Masky and Hoodie narrowly avert this by still appearing in the minigame house.
  • Big Damn Heroes: Numerous examples.
    • If Sonic.exe's QTE sequence in the mountains is successfully cleared with Ben, the protagonist and Sally arrive to rescue him.
    • When the main trio is cornered by Sonic.exe, Bloo Dee suddenly teleports in and warps the demonic hedgehog away.
    • If the player fails too many QTEs during the Smile.dog chase sequence, Sally will rush into the room and rescue them.
    • Ben can play this role during the Final Battle, stopping Laughing Jack from attacking Sally so that she can easily carry an unconscious Dee to safety.
  • Bond One-Liner: Ben delivers one upon dispatching Laughing Jack during the final battle.
Ben: No more laughing. You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?
  • Sanity Meter: Plays an integral role in the game's story. Viewing creepy things and failing QTE sequences during confrontations will drain your sanity, while successfully fighting off enemies and taking actions to strengthen your bond with Ben and Sally will raise it. Whether or not your sanity is above a certain threshold determines whether you successfully obtain the Holy Power during the endgame.
