Creepypasta Land is a 2015 indie horror game made with RPG Maker VX Ace, created by Brazilian Youtuber, Lucas Boato de Souza.

You, the nameless protagonist, move into a huge house in Crelles Town with your mom who had recently bought it off of the Internet. There you befriend some of its residents, including two kids your age named Ben and Sally. But as the days pass, things start getting out of whack when you notice several Creepypasta characters infesting the town. Pretty soon, it falls onto you to help rid of Crelles Town of this curse.

Game has examples of:

  • Ambiguous Situation: It is never clarified if Sally is supposed to be an apparition of Sally Maryam Williams from the creepypasta "Play With Me". While her character model makes it clear that she is based off of Sally Williams, it is unknown if, like Ben, she's able to be possessed by her creepypasta character. In the Bad Ending she's never possessed, and is even easily killed off by Ben. She does tell the protagonist that she is not human. It's possible that, like in her respective creepypasta, she is a poltergeist, but a benevolent one.
  • Ax-Crazy: The creepypastas by default. Sally also shows disturbing signs of this, too. Ben himself will slip into this if he becomes fully possessed by the BEN DROWNED creepypasta.
  • Bloodier and Gorier: The actual game itself doesn't show anything gory, but the original version of Creepypasta Land contained a password to a locked file with a video depicting real-life gore and images of horrific accidents. It has nothing to do with the game at all and seems to just have been added for shock value. Thankfully, the creator removed the file and password in the MV Edition remake of the game.
  • Belligerent Sexual Tension: Sally and Ben have this, as they deeply care for each other—which doesn't stop Sally from repeatedly threatening him.
  • Character Development: Ben easily freaks out when he and the protagonist first encounter the creepypastas. As he is forced to encounter more over the next few days, he understandably becomes de-sensitized to them. Of course, part of this is because he is slowly being possessed by BEN DROWNED. Sally herself gets some too, as she starts out as the Ax-Crazy girl who has no qualms about threatening to end her friends' lives, but slowly becomes a nicer person towards the end.
  • Disappeared Dad: There's zero mention of the protagonist's father.
  • "Everybody Dies" Ending: On Day 05, should you choose to sleep and not perform Bloo-Dee's ritual, you will wake up the next day to find the entire town dead (including Sally and your mother), having been murdered by a possesses Ben.
  • The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You: Twice.
    • When encountering the green-eyed demon in the caves of Bloo-Dee's house, he will confront the protagonist about being controlled by someone from the real world, and forcefully summons the Game Over screen. Should you try to re-start the game, the demon will appear on your screen, revealing to have erased Ben and Sally's memories.
    • Out by the river should you question Ben's loyalty AND admit wanting to drown him, he will instantly be possessed by BEN DROWNED, after which he kills the protagonist and tried to possess the player behind the screen.
  • Heel–Face Turn: Jeff the Killer is impressed by The Power of Friendship that you, Ben, and Sally possess, which results in him turning against his own boss, killing him, and ending the curse in the process.
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Memphi/Satan is killed by his own henchman, Jeff the Killer, after the latter was bestowed with God-like powers to kill of the trio.
  • Parental Abandonment: Sally's parents are implied to have abandoned her from a young age, after which she grew up in the theatre with no one her age to speak to, which partially explains her disturbed mind.
  • Walking Spoiler: There's very little to be said about the town's groundskeeper, Mephi, without revealing that he's Satan himself—and is responsible for spreading the curse in the first place.
  • You Can't Fight Fate: Laughing Jack taunts Ben with the insinuation that he will become BEN DROWNED. Thankfully, Bloo-Dee assures Ben that he is in fact free to choose his own path.
