• Acting for Two:
  • Matt Holme played the Shorts Doctor and a Morbius Doctor.
  • Thomas Ahearn played the Naked Doctor and another Morbius Doctor.
  • Jonathon Carley played the Third, War and Twelfth Doctors.
• Actor-Inspired Element: Thomas created the Naked Doctor (though most of his dialogue was written by Matt).
• Amateur Cast: The four main cast members are not professional actors.
• Awesome, Dear Boy:
  • Katy Manning and Peter Purves agreed to participate due to their love and appreciation for the NHS.
  • Thomas had never acted in a fan-produced audio story before but jumped at the chance to create his own incarnation of the Doctor.
• Cross-Regional Voice Acting: The audio was recorded in several sessions over Zoom. Matt, Joe Nickless and Matthew Rose recorded from their homes in the UK, while Thomas (the only American in the cast) recorded from his apartment in the US.
• Doing It for the Art: As this is a fan production, no money was involved. It was made to support the NHS and to share the creators' love and respect for Doctor Who.
• Friendship on the Set: The four main cast members (Matt, Thomas, Matthew and Joe) bonded while recording over Zoom and often chatted about Doctor Who between takes.
• Method Acting: Thomas got into character by recording his dialogue in the nude. This was by no means a requirement for the role (especially in an audio drama) but once he suggested it, there was no objection from his co-stars. Ironically, the others recorded their roles in their regular clothes which meant that Thomas was the only one "in costume" despite being completely naked.
• The Other Marty: Siobhan Gallichan was originally set to play the First Doctor but had to drop out at the last minute so Matthew stepped into the role.
• Real-Life Relative: Matt and Joe are cousins and play incarnations of the same character.
• What Could Have Been: There was some talk of giving the Naked Doctor a spin-off but nothing came of it.
• Written by Cast Member: Matt, Thomas, Matthew and Joe all contributed to the script.
• Write What You Know: Thomas is a casual nudist in real life and used that expertise in his portrayal of the Naked Doctor. Unlike the other Doctors, his co-stars were far more accepting of his lifestyle and were quite amused to be recording lines with a naked guy.
