Friendship on the Set

Go To

"We get along so well, I love Jenna. She's one of my closest friends. I think we have a different dynamic off-screen, but I still don't think its any less important or deep or beautiful than Enid and Wednesday's."
Emma Myers on her friendship with Jenna Ortega, formed during the filming of Wednesday

Being on the set of any film, television or cartoon production could have plenty of outcomes. On average, actors are simply associates who work together and then go their separate ways once the project ends with no ill will towards their coworkers. Of course, Romance on the Set may happen between coworkers and, on the opposite end, so does Hostility on the Set.

This trope lies in the middle, where someone becomes close to their coworker either as a good friend or even a best friend. Obviously, this can change the trajectory of their lives/careers, even to the point of making several projects together or later guest-starring on the costar's latest show. Also, while a friendship may develop between coworkers, it can still end through a non-death manner.
