  • Acting for Two: In the original series, Paul Frees played Morocco Mole and Double-Q. In the '90s version, besides voicing Morocco Mole, Jim Cummings (1952) also voices Goldflipper, various Bit Part Bad Guys (like in "Agent Penny"), and most of the extras.
  • Follow the Leader: This cartoon represented Hanna-Barbera's version of James Bond and Get Smart.
  • The Other Darrin: In the LP album Secret Squirrel and Morocco Mole in Super Spy, Morocco is voiced by Daws Butler instead of Paul Frees.
  • Promoted Fanboy: Donovan Cook was a fan of the series, which led to its revival in 2 Stupid Dogs.
  • Repeating Ad: Boomerang would always play a commercial for the original series that had the characters unmasking each other, leading to Morocco trying to unmask himself.
Secret: What do you think you're doing, Morocco?!?
Morocco: I'm just trying to make sure I am me!
  • Written by Cast Member: According to this tweet by Donovan Cook, Mark Hamill, who voiced Platypus in the episode of the same name, helped develop the design for the character with Cook in a lunch meeting.
  • What Could Have Been: According to Donovan Cook, the episode "Doctor O" initially had the Bat Boys beat Secret Squirrel with actual baseball bats and was even made it into animation but the executives thought it was too violet so they had the scene re-animated with the bats using balloon bats instead.
