- California Doubling: Although set in Wisconsin, the show was filmed in Monrovia, California.
- Completely Different Title: For some unfathomable reason, this series was marketed in France with the English title "High Secret City". French tropers have long learned not to try and determine an executive's thought process, for that way lay madness.
- Fake American: Rather surprisingly, Costas Mandylor who played Chicago-born Kenny was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia although the audience probably never would have guessed as such.
- Friday Night Death Slot: Averted. The show did very well on CBS's Friday Night Schedule.
- Friendship on the Set: Costas Mandylor considered Tom Skerritt to be his best friend.
- Those Two Actors: Costas Mandylor and Lauren Holly (Kenny and Max) also starred opposite each other in the romantic comedy Just Desserts in 2004 and yes, the chemistry was still there nearly ten years later.
- What Could Have Been: Christopher Reeve was originally offered the role of Sheriff Brock, but turned it down.
