• Actor Allusion: This isn't the first time Tara Strong has voiced a character who had a huge part in a wedding that went horribly wrong due to the antagonist from the bride's side of the family.
  • Kathleen Barr, the voice of Queen Chrysalis, also voiced Morrigan from Darkstalkers, another well known succubus.
  • This also isn't the first time Kathleen Barr has played the disguised leader of a group of green and black creatures and faced off against a character portrayed by Andrew Francis. Fans of Hot Wheels: World Race and Hot Wheels: AcceleRacers will recognise them from their roles as Gelorum and Vert Wheeler respectively.

  • DJ-Pon3/Vinyl Scratch's appearance is more than likely this, considering she's a Ensemble Dark Horse who was a 5 second One-Scene Wonder in the first season. She even takes her shades off, showing that her eyes are magenta — not quite the bright red fans had decided they were, but pretty close.
  • The changelings' designs have quite a lot in common with the antagonists of the fan-made online game Story of the Blanks and the bloody hooves from Super Filly Adventures bad ending.
