• Children Voicing Children: Kristen Bone was around eight years old when she voiced Maggie.

• Dawson Casting: Beast and Hamilton, despite being the same age as Maggie, were voiced by adult actors.
• Recursive Adaptation: While the series is based on Michael and Betty Paraskevas’ book The Ferocious Beast with Polka-Dot Hide, the Paraskevas themselves later adapted a few episodes into storybooks.
