- Acting for Two: Both Erika and the Lycoris Majima runs down in Episode 5 are voiced by Yuka Yagami, while Kitamura and Saori are voiced by Aino Shimada. Other incidentals also share actors with one another.
- Anime First: Lycoris Recoil is an anime original. A manga adaptation later began in September 2022.
- Edited for Syndication: Episode 11's eyecatch was initially one where Chisato and Takina were smoking Lycoris flowers◊. Because Lycoris flowers are actually poisonous in real life, they changed the eyecatch to Chisato smelling Takina's hair.
- Playing Against Type:
- Xanthe Huynh, best known for her soft spoken Nice Girl roles like Meiko “Menma” Honma and Haru Okumura voices Takina Inoue, a no-nonsense Action Girl who has few words to say while being an Unscrupulous Hero.
- Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, best known for his protagonist roles like Kirito, Soma Yukihara, and Bell Cranel is the voice of Majima, an Ax-Crazy terrorist. Ditto for Majima's English voice actor, Sean Chiplock, who's also known for his own protagonist roles like Subaru Natsuki, Rean Schwarzer and Ky Kiske. The latter even lampshaded how different the role was to him.
- Spoiled by the Cast List: Ironically, an attempt to avoid this caused it to happen anyway. The first episode has an unseen hacker who goes by the name Walnut, and seemingly dies at the end. The credits for the episode hide the VA's name, which logically means the character isn't actually dead, and suggests there's some sort of reveal related to Walnut's identity. The same applies for when they seemingly die again in the second episode. Looking at the full cast list can tell you what that reveal is if you know Japanese. There's a little girl character named Kurumi, and kurumi is the Japanese word for walnut.
