Trivia / Little Busters!

  • Cross-Dressing Voices: Riki Naoe in the original visual novel AND both dubs in the anime. Justified though, as Riki looks a bit androgynous as a boy; and thus he was subjected to one crossdressing scene.
  • Fan Translation: The people at TLWiki released a full English patch for the Windows game on December 18, 2011. It's good to warn that the patch is for the original version of the VN and works only partially with the EX/ME versions. There was set to be a version that covered all the expansions, but that was cancelled after an official release was announced.

  • The Other Darrin: Riki and Sasami were recast in the anime to prevent Talking to Himself (though Haruka and Kanata still share a voice in Japanese; they do, however, have different voice actresses in the dub). Mio was also recast as her voice actress was on parental leave.
  • Talking to Herself: Other than Haruka and Kanata, 3 different characters (Rin, Sasami, and Riki) are voiced by Tomoe Tamiyasu. Considering that Riki and Rin are the lead male and female characters, it must be pretty awkward in the eroge version.
    • It's even more awkward, since in the eroge version (Ecstasy), Sasami is an Ascended Extra with her own route.
    • Completely averted in the anime adaptation, where Yui Horie voices Riki and Sora Tokui voices Sasami.
    • Both dubs of the anime had Naomi Wakabayashi and Tiffany Grant voice both Kudryavka and her mom, Chernushka.
    • In the English dub, Caitlynn French voices the Nishizono sisters. In the Japanese one, this is played straight with the original visual novel, but not with the anime.
