• Breakthrough Hit: The Worst Animator in the World was the first extremely successful video of theirs and reached over 900,000 views when no previous video ever reached 500,000. After that video's release, their videos consistently received higher views.
• Colbert Bump: Hope: The Other Side Of Adventure was seldom talked about, and was even lost media for a good while before Izzzyzzz made their video about the subject and shot the game back into the limelight.
• Corpsing:
  • When reading Tale of Tales' famous anti-gamer Twitter rant in the video about The Path, Izzy can't help but chuckle even as they read it.
  • In the Mary Sue video, Izzy does a Dramatic Reading of the OG Parody Sue story, A Trekkie's Tale. While they do an admirable job of reading it without giggling, they do break once, when they read Spock's lines and ends up laughing at their own hilariously bad Leonard Nimoy impression.
• Cowboy Be Bop At His Computer:
  • A minor example occurs in their video The Phenomenon of Tumblr Sexymen, where they say that Sans from Undertale is evil. In the actual game, his character is heroic (if a bit scary sometimes).
  • When discussing kids' virtual worlds, she claimed that described Gaia Online was a kids virtual pet site. Gaia Online actually requires all users to be at least 13 years old due to the sometimes risqué and gory content hosted on the site. It's also not a virtual pet site, with it primarily being a forum-based website with a Virtual Paper Doll mechanic.
  • In her video on My Talking Angela, they mention many old iPhone games. One that they mention is The Impossible Quiz, but the footage shown is of the similar-in-concept Moron Test.
• Fan Community Nicknames: Their viewers, specifically their Patreon supporters, are called their "'Garfield Overlords".
