• Fan Community Nicknames: The users of Tumblr and Twitter uses the tags "Hermitblr" and "Hermittwt" as designations respectively in order to avoid conflicts with website-tagging.
• He Also Did: Grian was the Head Builder for Wynncraft, and was a set designer for its predecessor, CraftedMovie.
• In Memoriam: Many Hermits made their tributes to TinfoilChef, who passed away on August 13th, 2022. These Hermits made their dedication to immortalize TFC to remember him by. You can find all of the episodes in the playlist regarding TFC's passing.
• Official Fan-Submitted Content: In 2018, GoodTimesWithScar submitted his American shorthair cat Jellie to a contest Mojang held on Twitter to add a fan's cat into the game as a texture variant (as did Grian, with his cats Pearl and Maui). Scar won the fan vote, and Jellie was implemented into the game in the 1.14 snapshot 18w50a. Since then, Scar has sought out an in-game Jellie for his Hermitcraft endeavors.

• Role-Ending Misdemeanor: IAmSp00n, who was on the server for Seasons 1 to 3, was accused of sexual misconduct in June of 2020 and was banned from Twitch.
• Word of Gay: In response to Notch's transphobia, Iskall has stated that his Minecraft avatar "doesn't have a gender", which suggests that Iskall the Hermitcraft character is agender or otherwise under the trans/nonbinary spectrum.
