Being a Minecraft survival multiplayer server accompanied by talented builders, redstoners, and technical players alike, there's a few Heartwarming Moments after so much chaos has died down.

Season 8

  • Ren's story of his real-life friendship with Doc and how Doc helped him through a difficult few months in his life is both this and a borderline Tear Jerker.
  • During the break between Seasons 8 and 9, Scar had to go in for surgery, and would be out of commission for multiple weeks. When asked about the return of Hermitcraft, Jevin made it very clear that no matter what, the new season would not be starting without Scar.

Season 9

  • Mumbo scouts locations for his megabase, and narrows it down to two options- an impressive looking ice mountain terrain some distance from the nearest hermit, or a grass' lump' next to Grian. Mumbo considers building next to his friend such a positive that he quickly chooses the latter option.
  • The sheer outpouring of emotion on social media from fans and Hermits alike after TinfoilChef's passing shows that while he may not have had the most subscribers of the Hermits, he was loved just as much as any of them.
    • While it does clash in with the Tear Jerker territory, when Scar learned TFC had passed away, at the end of his Season 9 episode "I Made A Movie!!!", not only Scar made a topic about what matters in life, but he also built a tree that is specifically made as a memorial for TFC, complete with a diamond pickaxe to remember all the mining TFC had been doing to make multiple tunnels and described TFC as the epitome of the Hermit. He even took his hard hat off to pay respect to TFC.
  • During Tango's Decked Out 2 stream, Doc's baby daughter, Doccy appears through voice chat, saying Tango is wearing a llama head, mimicking Doc's two words, and simply saying Tango's name. Tango's reaction makes this scene heartwarming for the last few days of the minigame.

Season 10

  • After obliterating xBCrafted and 90% of his base in the finale of Season 10's demise game, Grian and Joel spend the next hour rebuilding xB's base exactly how it was. The hermits may be prankers, but griefers they definitely are not.
  • Impulse and Skizz have been friends since highschool, so it's unsurprising- or surprising, depending on how much you know about their dynamic- that a rather sweet moment came from the end of Impulse's first episode of Season 10. Skizz goes up to Impulse and they have a short conversation about Skizz's joining Hermitcraft, where Skizz ends up admitting that joining comes with, quote, "a certain degree of anxiety". Impulse is quick to reassure him that, even now, he still feels some of that too.

General

  • The bond between the Hermits in general. They're clearly best of friends who trust each other beyond words, despite the chaos they get into in-game. Calling each other family or agreeing with such an assessment is not an unheard of occurrence.
