Trivia / Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure

• Children Voicing Children: Seiran Fukushima (the voice of the young chick Shakipiyo) was 10-years old when the series was released.
• Completely Different Title: In French, the show's title is Gudetama : Une aventure œuforique, a pun on œuf (egg) and euphorique (euphoric).
• Dark Horse Casting: The Latin American Spanish dub, with the sole exceptions of Raul Aldana as Gudetama (see below), Romina Marroquín Payró as Director Suzuki, and Gerado Alonso as Guretama, mostly used new and upcoming voice actors with few roles under their belts, with some of them even making their debuts as voice actors in this show.
• The Other Darrin: Shunsuke Takeuchi provides the voice for Gudetama in the Netflix series, replacing Junko Takeuchi ^note  Who also voices Kuromi and Piano. who currently voices the character in live shows and animated shorts in Japan.
• Playing Against Type: In the Latin American Spanish dub, the titular Gudetama is voiced by Raul Aldana, a voice actor well-known for years for dubbing almost exclusively Disney-related media, like Timon and Stitch^note In fact, he uses the same tone as Stitch for Gudetama, except with a drawl., as he was previously Disney Character Voices International, Inc. Latin American branch's CEO, barring some exceptions, like Saint Seiya The Hades Saga as Mandragora Queen, being his first non-Disney voice acting work since he quit working for them at 2020.
