Trivia / CPU Kerfuffle

Go To

  • Acting for Two: Too many examples to count, as every character is voiced by one of the commentators.
  • Ascended Fanon: Plenty, considering that the commentators read both the Twitch chat and the Discord chat. A few examples include:
    • Juniper, Alabaster Uppercut’s younger sister from Tales from Sunset Edge.
    • Painguin, a character from the Tourney of Errors "fan-fuffle" run on the community Discord.
    • "Crimbo" was a fan nickname given to Crimson by the fandom (on the basis that Crimson is, in fact, pretty dumb). In Kerfuffle #24, when Crimson introduces himself to Jon Arbuckle, he gives Crimbo as his nickname.
    • Larry is often depicted in fanart as being sort of goopy, especially while shapeshifting. Kerfuffle #28 makes this canon.
      • In a similar vein, J0hn is frequently drawn with a visor as part of his face due to his being a cyborg, which ended up getting mentioned in Kerfuffle #31.
  • He Also Did: Ryan and a majority of the other commentators are members of the Clown House streaming group, and by extension cast members of Real-Time Fandub.
  • Line to God: Ryan and Jay infrequently interact with the Discord channel, and Ryan will also post lore to his Twitter.
  • Missing Episode: The Good Ass Showdown, which was streamed shortly after the release of Ultimate and for which the recording was sadly lost.
  • The Other Darrin: Due to the rotating cast of commentators, character voices will be done by whoever is present, leading to many cases of this.
  • Sailor Earth: A good number of characters are technically fan characters, as most were submitted by the audience. Even then, the series gives a lot of potential for fan creations by picking a character and alternate costume from the roster and spinning them into their own character.
  • Writing by the Seat of Your Pants: Due to the series' nature as an improv-based livestream, many of the plot beats are made up on the spot.
