  • Creator-Preferred Adaptation: James Howe, co-author of the books, is actually really fond of the tv show. He's even a consulting producer.
  • The Danza: Scott Menville voices Scott in the episode "Scott Free".
  • Marth Debuted in "Smash Bros.": The books had only been translated into six languages, but the series has been dubbed into at least ten languages.
  • Screwed by the Network: In addition to receiving next-to-no advertising, Bunnicula was quickly and quietly dropped off on Boomerang; where it hasn't had a new episode since March, 2016. Also it seems to only ever air on Saturday at 6:00 PM EST so its very limited timeslot isn't helping things.
    • A year later, it was announced that the series would be made available on the Boomerang streaming app.

  • Short Run in Peru: Many episodes premiered in foreign countries during the show's long hiatus in the US.
  • Talking to Himself:
    • Chris Kattan voices Bunnicula, as well as Mina's father
