• All-Star Cast: For a low-budget computer-animated film, it has quite a stellar cast that includes names like Evan Rachel Wood, Chris Evans, James Garner, Brian Cox, David Cross, Luke Wilson, Danny Glover, Dennis Quaid, Justin Long, and Amanda Peet.
• Colbert Bump: Part of the reason some of the few people who remember it even know it exists is because some infamous user went around the "VHS/DVD openings" community a while back and constantly demanded people to upload the opening for the film's DVD release.
• Invisible Advertising: Lionsgate gave the film a very light marketing campaign (seemingly only promoting it with PG-13 genre films), reduced the theatre count on the film just days before opening (from 2,500 to only 1,000 theatres) and left it for dead against X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Most theatres pulled it after a week as a result. Also, the 3-D version was released in fewer theatres than usual (despite the few ads heavily promoting the 3-D).
