- Fake Brit: The film does have a number of British actors to play British characters such as Peter McEnery, Terry-Thomas, William Mervyn and Peter Myers, but a number of officers are played by French actors as well, such as Patrick Préjean and Robert Le Béal. There's also the American Billy Kearns as the camp's commander and American-French Jess Hahn as a colonel of Commander Perry's staff.
