Episodes

Ferdinand the Cannibal
  • It's easy to miss, but Connor's first scene establishes somewhat subtly how he feels about his situation:
Connor: Go in, ask questions, get out… go in, ask questions, get out… (eyes open and suddenly look wistful) get out…
  • When Ferdinand calls Connor "an abnormality, an SCP like [him]" who "belongs here" (as in, in containment), Connor is noticeably upset.
Connor: I'm not a human atom bomb, I'm not a rapidly evolving virus and I'm not a Shakespearean cannibal! I work for them!

The Girl in the Iceberg

  • Connor's backstory. Turns out his mother left him in a car in a parking lot when he was a baby, without a note or anything explaining why. After he overheated to death over and over and over (leaving numerous baby corpses in the process), the Foundation found him and he's been in their captivity ever since.
  • The ending. Connor seemed to genuinely befriend SCP-1836 over their similar backstories to the point where in the short span of time they spent together he learned some crude Inuktitut. And then she's gone, all the instances of SCP-1836-1 are dead, and all that's left is to pass on what he learned from her and bunker down for a long depressing trip home.
    • To really bring the tears, Alex Turner's "Stuck on the Puzzle" plays all throughout the ending.

Specials

Only Us
  • Connor recounts that, as a child, he finally got a friend in the form of a psychic octopus named Gilbert. Unfortunately, Gilbert's "mom" (aka SCP-2967) really didn't approve, and sent Connor running with a psychic attack when he went to go meet them. He and Gilbert never saw each other again.

Anomalies!

  • It's hard not to feel a bit bad for Annie, as she had been accosted by SCP-1879, lost an arm, and then gets murdered by him in retaliation for her kicking his eyeball out to shut up his taunting. Not helped by the fact that she's stated to be a widow, and her picture taken by the Desire Camera establishes that her greatest desire is to see her husband and child again.

Fine and Dandy

  • "Fine and Dandy" further establishes Connor as a Stepford Smiler.
    Hey! Ho! Here he goes!
Either a little too high or a little too low
    Got low self-esteem and vertigo
But he thinks he's fine and dandy

Connor's First Christmas

  • Connor is sent out to investigate a Gingerbread House SCP, whose denizens (a family of living gingerbread cookies) promptly bake him into a living gingerbread child. They then treat him as though he was their actual son and a touched Connor gets to experience what is probably his first Christmas with a loving family. Then they all get shot by the Foundation.
