- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (IDW): In issue #84, while the Rat King (in this incarnation a god of chaos) is holding a child by the leg over a drop into the east river, Raphael orders him to let the child go, to which the Rat King responds by dropping the latter to his doom. Michelangelo, after rescuing the child, lampshades the stupidity of saying that, bringing up The Dark Knight as a reference.
