Episode 138: Pyrrhucy
Takes place 14 February 2013.
Paul returns turn Earth in order to find the Medusa Mask, which is needed to make up for the fact that he and his allies were unable to get the assistance of the Indigo Lantern Corps.
The Renegade needs to help his allies after Ahri'ahn lifts Atlantis from the bottom of the ocean.
- Alternate Universe: We see a new version of the SI who ended up on a world populated by living versions of the dolls from Barbie.
- Back from the Dead: Nabu returns as an ally of Ahri'ahn.
- Bedlah Babe: While in the Dream, specifically Dream Baghdad, Luna is dressed this way
. - Chekhov's Gun: The clones that were previous stolen come up in this episode. It's revealed that Mannheim infected them with the Anti-Life so that they could infect Paul after they die in close proximity to him.
- Discard and Draw: After Paul's rings are infected with the Anti-Life, he resorts to using the yellow ring he recently obtained in order to continue fighting.
- Genre Savvy: While going save the prisoners captured by the Dhorians, Paul makes sure that the lift is locked at the top of the ship and has everyone go down the shaft instead of using the lift itself. Soon after they reach the bottom, the lift explodes.
- Hypocrite: The Renegade sees Caliph Haroun al Raschid as this but keeps it to himself.Total bollocks. He literally made himself a magical creature while his fleshy remains were left to live out their days broken in mind and spirit, basically the definition of what Mohammad banned when he cleared the animist shrines out of Mecca. All because he was afraid of something happening that he then deliberately made happen! It's a basic component of Judaeo-Christian-Islamic morality: you're not supposed to try and live forever! You're not supposed to sniff your own farts so hard that you can't take the idea that thing in the future might be a little different and you're certainly not supposed to deliberately sacrifice other people upon the altar of your ego! You're supposed to spend your life striving to be worthy of Heaven! Fix what you can! Endure what you can't! He-!

I'm… Honestly a little surprised about how personally I'm taking this. - Never My Fault: Nylor says that the Dhorians are on Earth because of Paul's actions, before he's forced to admit that he also sent a message to the Dominion about Paul's offworld activities, leading to the Dominion deciding to move against Earth and give the Dhorians a chance to test the waters.
- Not Distracted by the Sexy: Luna comments on the fact that the Renegade hasn't ogled her like the other men who saw her outfit.Luna: Your eyes were not drawn. Nabu looked, briefly. An instinctual response whose purpose We imagine that he barely remembers. Caliph Haroun al Raschid most certainly looked. We understand that Our equine form doth not hold your eye, but We had assumed that this.. bipedal form was more to your tastes.
