Tropes
- The Bus Came Back: Ravage is back after a small cameo back in episode 2 of Siege.
- Enemy Mine: Attempted, but never successfully implemented for two reasons when the Autobots and Decepticons band together against Scorponok as: 1) Megatron is too consumed by revenge to spare Optimus during the battle against Scorponok and 2) both sides are too weak to tackle Scorponok in any way.
- Evil Versus Evil: Megatron gets threatened by both Scorponok and Starscream.
- Hero Ball: Related to Save the Villain, in the midst of the battle against Scorponok, Optimus decides to salvage Megatron rather than finishing the battle.
- Impaled with Extreme Prejudice: Happens to Megatron with a pole. It makes him bleed badly, in the form of pink Energon.
- Made of Iron: The Autobots and Decepticons banded together fire their entire array of weaponry at Scorponok to no effect. He can withstand anything from their guns to grenades, the latter only temporarily knocking him out.
- Mythology Gag: Starscream and Barricade get into an argument over who gets to be leader of the Decepticons. This has happened before in the Nintendo DS game Transformers: Decepticons based on the 2007 live-action film, except here Barricade doesn't get executed by Starscream for refusing to swear loyalty to him.
- Save the Villain: Optimus decides to save Megatron's life.
- Ungrateful Bastard: And Megatron still tries to kill him afterwards.
- The Only One Allowed to Defeat You: Megatron's reason for saving Optimus from Scorponok.
