The 2nd episode of Earthrise, the 2nd chapter of Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy.

Tropes:

  • Because You Were Nice to Me: The Decepticon prisoners that Elita's Autobot band return the favor by helping them escape before Shockwave can harvest their sparks.
  • Dude, Where's My Reward?: Doubledealer wants to know.
    • I Lied: Upon cutting off the other faces, Deseeus's Wrath persona breaks the deal with Doubledealer, saying he doesn't owe him anything and orders the mercenary to leave, prompting Double to point a gun and ask You and What Army?. Deseeus has quite an army.
  • I Owe You My Life: Optimus says to Doubledealer he's in his debt after the latter agrees to free the Autobots from Deseeus. Doubledealer disagrees, telling Optimus that finding the AllSpark should be his priority.
  • MacGuffin: The AllSpark becomes this to Earthrise starting in this episode.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: Deseeus ends up ensuring the Autobots escape by breaking the deal with Doubledealer and refusing to pay him, prompting the mercenary to retaliate by liberating the Autobots.
  • Only in It for the Money: Doubledealer, who is of the Mercenary faction and is only looking to get paid. He works for whoever pays best.
  • The Reveal: Project Nemesis is shown to be a huge warship that Megatron intends to use to hunt down and destroy the Ark.
  • Unseen No More: The Quintessons, who were first mentioned back in Episode 3 of Siege. Bumblebee even admits he doubted they ever existed other than in mythology because he's never met one, as it has been a long time since the Quintessons were driven from Cybertron.
  • You and What Army?: Doubledealer asks this to Deseeus when the latter refuses to pay the former for services. Deseeus then turns out to have an army, but Doubledealer still engages in battle and frees the Autobots under the promise they will find the AllSpark.
