As the Dazzlings are offered the chance to impress some VIPs from Hollywood and become movie stars, they discover a fellow model, Amethyst Star, has another Medallion.
- Bittersweet Ending: The heroes manage to protect Amethyst from Devious and Chrysalis, with Trixie gaining her Medallion and Amethyst and the Dazzlings head to Hollywood to become stars. However, Devious and Chrysalis get away again thanks to help from the other villains, and their distraction allowed the rest of the group to steal some stuff that the mastermind, revealed to be Shadow, needed for his master plan.
- Brick Joke: When saying goodbye to Flash, Adagio confirms what Flash originally said in "Glitches", that if she and her sisters didn't use their magic in the Battle of the Bands he and his band would have beaten them and won the whole thing. Though she says she'll deny it if he ever asks again.
- Falling Chandelier of Doom: The Dazzlings cut a rope holding a chandelier during the battle, causing it to fall toward Devious. He jumps out of the way to avoid it, but this still frees everyone else from the effects of his Mad Monkey Medallion.
- Forceful Kiss: When saying goodbye to Flash at the airport, after pulling back from their hug, Adagio surprises Flash by leaning forward and planting her lips on his, giving him a surprise goodbye kiss for five seconds before pulling away.
- Give Geeks a Chance: When looking over pictures of Amethyst Star modeling different outfits, Flash finds himself being strangely drawn to the picture of her dressed as a traditional nerd, with her wearing glasses and having her hair in a ponytail. This suggests that Flash has a thing for Cute Bookworms.
- I Just Want to Be Normal: Amethyst hates having her powers since she doesn't want her career to potentially be ruined by them. So she has no problem giving them to Trixie once she explains how to.
- Just Between You and Me: In a friendly version of this, Adagio whispers to Flash while hugging him that he was right and he and his band would have beaten her and her sisters in the Battle of the Bands if they hadn't of used their magic, but says she'll deny it if he ever asks again. Flash still smirks when hearing this.
- Post-Kiss Catatonia: Flash is described as going "brain dead" as Adagio is kissing him.
- Put on a Bus: The Dazzlings leave town at the end of the chapter, having been scouted to become movie stars. The last scene has them all saying goodbye to their friends as they board their plane.
- The Reveal: The mastermind and mysterious benefactor behind the villains gaining their new tech and teaming up is revealed to be Shadow.
- Secret-Keeper: In order to convince Amethyst Star to listen to her and to give her the Iron Serpent Medallion, Trixie reveals she's Lady Masquerade to her.
- The Starscream: Devious is revealed to be one toward Shadow early on. Despite agreeing to his proposed alliance so he can deal with Trixie and get the Medallions easier, he tells Chrysalis once Flash is taken care of they'll dispose of him before he can try betraying them himself and they'll be unopposed with collecting the Medallions.
- The Tease: Despite Adagio and Flash having broken up, Adagio surprises him with a goodbye kiss on the lips and gives him a wink before running to the gate where her sisters are waiting.
