To avoid getting beaten up by Francis at Flappy Bob's Learn-A-Torium, Timmy wishes to be a baby so he could hide with the other babies, but he is unable to wish himself back to normal as he can’t talk.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Baby Morph Episode: Timmy wishes to be a baby so he can hide out amongst the other babies in the nursery and be safe from Francis. Since he can't talk as a baby, he has to spell out "I wish I was ten" to return to his normal age.
  • Baby Talk: Timmy can only talk like this as a baby, thus he has to spell out his wish to be ten again.
  • Be the Ball: One of the things in the Big Kids' Room is the Happy Sport Court, where smaller kids are inflated with helium tanks so the bigger kids can use them as volleyballs.
  • Bittersweet Ending: Close to a Downer Ending. It ends when Vicky is rehired to take care of Timmy, but at least Timmy doesn’t have to deal with Flappy Bob’s Learn-A-Torium.
  • Brainy Baby: The other babies help Timmy escape from the prison cell that Betty and Gary put him in, then later build a giant robot shaped like Francis to sneak into the Big Kids' Room.
  • Chekhov's Gag: One of the things in the Big Kids Room is a license plate machine, not unlike one found in a prison. When Betty and Gary confiscate the blocks, Timmy decides to use the license plate machine to spell out "I wish I was ten".
  • Daycare Nightmare:
    • The Big Kids' Room at Flappy Bob's Learn-A-Torium is treated like a prison, complete with a license plate machine, as well as a 60-something-year-old man named Pops who has been trying to escape.
    • While the nursery averts this for the most part, Betty and Gary have a prison cell for babies that misbehave that has iron bars, a unicorn mobile that fires lasers, and a glass dome.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Timmy wishes to be a baby to hide from Francis only to find that he can't talk, meaning he can't wish himself back to normal.
  • Fountain of Youth: Timmy wishes he was a baby.
  • Look Behind You: Timmy tells Francis "Look, a hot shower!" to escape from him.
  • Never Smile at a Crocodile: Timmy uses the blocks to wish Gary and Betty away to a swamp, where they get attacked by alligators. Gary and Betty manage to escape and put Timmy down for a nap.
  • Older Than They Look: Pops was apparently left in the Learn-A-Torium for 60 years. However, he rather looks like he could be in his forties.
  • Parental Abandonment: 60 years before this episode's events, Pops' parents dropped him off at Flappy Bob's Learn-A-Torium and never came back. Pops has unsuccessfully trying to break out ever since.
  • Wedgie: Francis carries Timmy by his underwear as he shows him around the Big Kids' Room.
