Batgirl suspects that Catwoman is behind the theft of a rare Siberian Leopard. However, Batman has other ideas.

- Adaptation Dye-Job: Unlike all previous incarnations, Joker's hyenas are albino in this version (which is extremely rare in real life), as they're a present from Kilgore for delivering him the leopards.
- Big Creepy-Crawlies: A giant spider.
- Call-Back/Crazy-Prepared: Batman had made sure his belt could only work for him. Coincidentally, the one responsible for this idea is also in this episode.
- False Friend: Catwoman plays with Batgirl's shaky relationship with Batman to get on her good side. Once she has the cats, Catwoman betrays her.
- Hypocrite: Catwoman knows a lot about cats but she forgot one thing that Batman lampshades. Cats hate water.
- Irony: When Catwoman tries to get the Leopards come with her in a boat, but they refuse as Batman reminds her that cats hate water, something he points out she of all people should know.
- The Maze: Kilgore has one as his private safari to hunt the animals he captured.
- Shown Their Work: This is one of the very few times in media where hyenas are stated to be more closely related to cats, whereas pretty much everyone else goes for the Artistic License statement that hyenas are dog like.
- The Starscream: Joker naturally betrays Kilgore.
- Tears of Joy: Joker's reaction when he sees his hyenas for the first time.Joker: They're gorgeous!
