When Mario heads to the refrigerator to get some milk, he discovers that the milk is gone. Now, Mario must find a way to get another carton of milk, but owing to his personality, things may go out of hand...
Mario Goes to the Fridge to Get a Glass Of Milk provides examples of:
- Artistic License – Biology: Played for Laughs. Normally cows would not be able to produce spaghetti, Mario's Trademark Favourite Food, but here they do. By barfing it out.
- Because You Were Nice to Me: Bessie saves Luigi from Jeeves' wrath because he treated her kindly when milking her.
- Dumbass Has a Point: Mario's plan to get more milk is actually a pretty sensible idea, that being just getting more from the factory. It actually works for a while, even fooling Jeeves, before the employees catch Luigi and Toad spying on them.
- Freeze-Frame Bonus: In the scene showing Mario worshipping the spaghetti cow at night, you can see in the background Toad lying on the floor, even though the next scene shows him in a jail cell a few seconds later.
- Oh, Crap!: Jeeves when he sees the cows turning against him, which he wisely responds to by calling in reinforcements.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Jeeves has every right to force Mario, Luigi and Toad to get him more milk from the farm, as the trio basically broke in and broke one of the factory's silos, causing him to potentially lose out on the profit made from it. He even has the right to spank Luigi for failing to provide the replacement milk within the timeframe he gave them, as well!
- Made of Explodium: The milk carton explodes upon hitting the floor for no discernable reason.
- Major Injury Underreaction: Shroomy doesn't react negatively whatsoever when a milk carton explodes next to him and sets him on fire.
- Mistreatment-Induced Betrayal: The cows rebel against Jeeves because he milks them to death and attempted to hurt the only people who treated them kindly.Demonic Cow: First you milk us to death...and now you hurt people that show us love?...We cows have had enough! It's time for an uprising!
- One-Winged Angel: Bessie the cow turns out to have a demonic cow form that she assumes when Jeeves is about to spank Luigi.
- Serial Escalation: What starts off as a simple errand eventually turns into a war between milk cartons and demon cows.
- Stating the Simple Solution: Subverted, as Toad suggests just getting some crates of milk that Steve already has and passing it off as their own work, only for Steve to pull a shotgun on Toad the moment Toad touches one of the crates. Luigi Lampshades this.Luigi: Looks like we're just gonna have to get milk the normal way.
- Unusually Uninteresting Sight: Shroomy has almost no reaction to the milk carton flying at him or it exploding.Shroomy: Uh guys, you dropped something. You might want to pick it u-
