The Turtles have to fight through a horde of some of their greatest enemies while being stuck together after a glue accident.

Tropes:

  • Big Creepy-Crawlies: The mutant silverfish infesting the museum.
  • Chained Heat: Invoked. Raph purposefully glues his brothers to him, hoping it will force them to improve their teamwork. It works.
  • Disaster Dominoes: The Turtles in their stuck-together ball of glue set one of these off shortly after entering the museum.
  • Embarrassing Password: When the turtles have to access Donnie’s computer, Donnie is forced to reveal it out loud since his hands are trapped in the glue. What’s the password? Bootyyyshaker9000.
  • Human Notepad: Raph writes his inspirational speeches about bonding on his hands and frequently can’t read his own writing.
  • Mind-Control Eyes: Raph gets these when Hypno-Potamus hypnotizes him.
  • Sadistic Choice: Due to the turtles being trapped in a glue ball, they’re forced to choose between stopping either Hypno-Potamus or the two Foot soldiers. Both sets of villains are after something dangerous and there’s a risk that the turtles will let one of them get away. There’s also Warren, but he doesn’t matter as much.
  • Strange Minds Think Alike: Both Hypno and Brute, one of the Flameheads, ask the Turtles the same thing once they see them in their stuck-together state: if some creepy doctor chopped them up into tiny bits and then sewed them back together.
Raph: Is there a creepy doctor running around that we don’t know about?

Al Be Back

Tropes:

  • Achievements in Ignorance: The turtles don’t seem to realize how horrible their music is and they unintentionally drove the robots to kill themselves.
  • Bait-and-Switch: When the turtles start playing, it looks like they’re actually good and that the Albertos love it. Then it shows what’s really happening, which is the turtles playing and singing terribly.
  • Black Comedy: The turtles' music is so bad that the robots destroy themselves and each other to avoid listening to it. Basically, this episode features a mass suicide.
  • Dreadful Musician: As mentioned above, the turtles' music is terrible.
  • Karma Houdini: Baxter Stockboy, the once responsible for Alberto getting a new body and trying to create an army of Albertos, suffers no consequences by the turtles.
