When the Cake parents get back, they and Pinkie Pie decide to spend the day encouraging Pound to use his potty. Pinkie decides to leave Pumpkin with one of her (Pinkie Pie's) friends and when the parents want to get potty training advice from the foalsitter, Pinkie decides on Fluttershy, since she's good with kids.
Pumpkin is excited to go to Fluttershy's, but confused by Pound's not going with her, and when she arrives, Fluttershy initially is worried Pound might be sick but then Pinkie informs her of the situation. She suggests going easy on Pound like her parents did with her and Zephyr but Pinkie says no because Fluttershy and Zephyr were late bloomers. When Pinkie Pie leaves, Fluttershy offers Pumpkin some carrots, but Pumpkin hates veggies and must be goaded with puree. Then, someone steals Pumpkin's potty.
The thief is revealed to be Harry, who shows it to Angel (who was jealous of the attention Pumpkin was getting) and calls the rest of the critters over to discuss the potty. Beaverton suggests it's a well, but they already have one and there's no water. Hummingway wonders if it's a food dish, while Angel thinks it's a bed for him, a raccoon thinks it's a trash bin, an otter thinks it's a fishing bowl, and Harry thinks it's a hat. He tries wearing it but just looks ridiculous.
Meanwhile, Pumpkin needs her potty and while it's not an emergency, she's mad at the "potty snatcher". The animals are still pondering the potty: a flamingo thinks it's a milk bowl, a squirrel thinks it's an acorn bowl, a skunk thinks it's what makes the flushing sound in the bathroom, a wasp thinks it's a flowerpot, and a deer thinks that it's Zecora's pot. Angel has started to suspect that it's for doing your "business" and poops in it himself to demonstrate.
The animals are disgusted and leave, meanwhile Pumpkin's urge to go is starting to become urgent when she finds the potty and uses it. Then, Discord shows up and reveals that he saw the animals discussing the potty and doesn't know what it is. Fluttershy explains, grossing him out.
