- Alas, Poor Villain: Sad Wolf Oobi is told to leave by Woodsman Angus, but the latter, along with Grandmother Kako and Little Red Uma, all feel sorry for him.
- All Musicals Are Adaptations: The episode features a musical version of Little Red Riding Hood.
- The Big Bad Wolf: Oobi's character in the play.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Maestru makes an appearance in "Theater!" before being officially introduced in "Sing!".
- Heel–Face Turn: Wolf Oobi when Little Red Uma, Grandmother Kako, and Woodsman Angus invite him to eat strawberries with them.
- Gasp!: Grampu and the audience when it seems Little Red Uma and Grandmother Kako are about to get eaten by Wolf Oobi.
- "No Talking or Phones" Warning: Before the show starts, Maestru announces to the audience to turn their cellphones off, which they do.
- Oh, Crap!:Uma: Grandma, big ears.Oobi: Better for Grandma to hear.Uma: Grandma, big nose.Oobi: to smell, Grandma suppose.Uma: [gets scared] Grandma, big mouth, big head....Oobi: Better to eat Little Red!
- Screw This, We're Outta Here!:Uma: Grandma, Grandma, wolf is here!Kako: Little Red, come, let's disappear!
- Thinking Out Loud: Oobi's wolf character does this after he's successful in distracting Little Red Uma.Oobi: Wolf go quick, Wolf go fast, to Grandma's house, dinner at last!
- "You!" Exclamation: Little Red Uma delivers four frightened ones to Wolf Oobi when she finds him in her grandmother's house.
