During a trip to the Night Market, the group is once again turned into foals, and Alphabittle has to corral them.
Tropes:
- Bait-and-Switch: When Alphabittle is giving everyone the tea that will return them to normal, he seems hesitant to give it to Misty at first, remembering her when she was a baby before losing her and remarking she's just like he remembers her. This might lead viewers to think he is considering keeping her this way to experience her childhood with her that he missed out on, but instead he gives her the tea anyway, happy to have her back in his life.
- Call-Back:
- Pipp recognizes the glitter from "Making a Foal of Me" moments before everyone is affected by it.
- The size-changing crystals from "Attack of the Bunnisus" turn foal Hitch miniature and then giant.
- Opaline is able to arrive in the Night Market through a portal, just like she did with the Together Tree in "Nightmare on Mane Street".
- Diving Save: Misty levitates herself into the air with a big hat, then falls to the ground when she loses her grip. Alphabittle dives under her to catch her just before she hits the ground.
- Evil Is Petty: Opaline doesn't want to leave empty-handed, so she steals Onyx’s cutie mark just because she can.
- Fountain of Youth: Magic glitter once again ages down ponies. Pipp and Zipp join the fun this time, along with Misty.
- Missed Him by That Much: Opaline gets all dressed up to steal Sunny's cutie mark while she's vulnerable, but by the time she arrives, the group is flying off in the Marestream.
- Sneeze of Doom: Hitch sneezing around the magic glitter spreads it all over the group, aging them down to foals among other effects.
- Sudden Downer Ending: Alphabittle manages to change Misty and the Mane 5 back to their regular ages, but shortly after this Opaline arrives at the Night Market. Though she misses her chance to steal Sunny and her friends' cutie marks, she steals Onyx's instead and throws the Night Market into chaos, while darkly noting that Sunny is next.
- Swapped Roles: Sparky ends up trying to keep baby Hitch out of trouble and becomes a Badly Battered Babysitter, the opposite of their usual roles.
- What You Are in the Dark: Alphabittle has a chance to relive Misty's childhood he was denied with her, but ultimately chooses to return her to her proper age.
