All Might has finally shown up, but will he be able to defeat Nomu and save the day?!
Tropes:
- Adaptation Expansion: All Might's fight with Nomu lasts longer than in the manga, taking a few minutes, and has All Might throwing the Nomu up and down and destroying the ground and the ceiling with his punches.
- Beyond the Impossible: All Might ends up straining himself more than he regularly would once again in order to stop the attacking Nomu.
- Big Damn Heroes: Todoroki, Bakugo, and Kirishima show up just in time to help fight Nomu.
- Bridal Carry: All Might ends up doing this to Aizawa. Justified as he had just been beaten within an inch of his life.
- Exact Words: Important during All Might's fight with Nomu.All Might: He said your power was shock absorption, not nullification! That means there's a limit to what you can take, right?!
- Megaton Punch: At the climax of their duel, All Might hits the Nomu so hard it's sent flying out of the USJ by crashing through its roof, and beyond, into the clouds.
- Moral Myopia: Shigaraki complains about "state brutality" on account of All Might punching him while rescuing three students that he had just attempted to murder.
- No-Sell: The USJ Nomu's power is to absorb the shock of impacts dealt onto it, like attacks. After learning about this ability, All Might keeps attacking it until it reaches its limit and is soundly defeated, thus subverting this trope.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business: All Might is usually smiling (in his hero form), but as Izuku points out, he's not smiling anymore.
- Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs: All Might and the Nomu begin exchanging blows very rapidly during their duel at one point, before All Might gains the upper hand.
- Wrestler in All of Us: When he first takes on the Nomu, All Might slams it to the ground with what most resembles a German suplex.
