Zira Cornelius, a documentary filmmaker, does a wildlife report on Charles Darwin Middle School. She mistakes Adam for an undiscovered new animal species, on account of his enormous face-dementing zit, and chases him around the school, pestering him for information.
- Early-Bird Cameo: Windsor brings out Teddy Truman for a brief joke, in an episode that's strangely, an entire season before the doll's debut episode, "Talking Teddy".
- Elvis Impersonator: Principal Pixiefrog dressed as Elvis for attention.
- Eternally Pearly-White Teeth: Jake used a sander on his teeth, and destroyed all the plaque and scum on there. After this, his teeth blasted out a massive, blinding spotlight, every time he opened his mouth.
- High Hopes, Zero Talent: Jake Spidermonkey desperately wants to be involved with the documentary, but has nothing interesting to do.
- Lady Looks Like a Dude: Zira mistook Coach Gills for a boy.
- Naked People Are Funny: Adam got completely naked to take a shower, and Jake broke into the locker room and recorded him. His naked body was then exposed all over public television and worst of all, seen by Kerry and Chad.
- Nature Documentary: That's what Zira Cornelius was making.
- Rise of Zitboy: Adam gets a huge zit on the night he's supposed to spend with Kerry.
- Spotlight Hog: Jake was jealous that Zira refused to give him any camera time, and kept pulling off stunts in front of her, trying to get her attention.
- Third Eye: Jake drew an eye on Adam's zit, and Zira thought this was really a third eye.
- Unusually Uninteresting Sight: Zira looked around the school, for animals that did something special or talented. After watching fish do olympian tricks, juggling, and other interesting stuff, but she didn't see it as documentary-worthy.
- Water Is Air: A shark sprinted through the fish tube, carrying a burning torch.
