In an effort to reverse the de-aging spell, Young Billy comes up with a device capable of using the Rangers' Power Coins to restore them to their proper ages. But how far will they get before Lord Zedd and Rita steal the device, and destroy the Coins within? Will the Aquitian Rangers be able to rehydrate in time to return to Angel Grove and defeat the device, now the Slotsky monster?

- Darkest Hour & Wham Episode: Only Billy's age is restored to normal as Rita and Zedd destroy the Ninja Power Coins, leaving the other five Earth Rangers stuck as kids and all six of them completely powerless. Plus, the Aquitian Rangers can't stay on Earth indefinitely.
- Dumbass Has a Point: As Lord Zedd is celebrating the destruction of the Rangers' Power Coins and leaving five of them still trapped as children, he wonders how the day can be made any better. Rito makes a suggestion Zedd approves of: a monster attack.
- Evolving Credits: The opening is updated to credit the de-aged rangers, add footage of the Alien Rangers, and to replace the MMPR logo with a Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers one.
- Foreshadowing: Billy's use of the regenerator device will later be used to write him out.
- He's Back!: As stated above, Billy returns to his normal age, being the only one who does so.
- Idiot Ball: Billy and his friends just run away from Goldar and Rito instead of, you know, teleporting back to the safety of the Command Center. As a result, the regenerator is taken and the Ninja Power Coins are destroyed, while the regenerator is turned into a monster that the Aquitians have to destroy as well, forestalling the others returning to their proper ages.
- Screw This, I'm Outta Here: After the Aquitian Rangers knock them around, Slotsky berates the Tengas and tells them to do something. They hightail it away.
- Secret Identity: The first aversion in the franchise. Due to the Aquitians being aliens, they are free to morph in public.
- The Plan: To keep the Earth Rangers from restoring their proper ages, Zedd wants Rito and Goldar to follow them and summon him when they're all together, so he and Rita can destroy the Power Coins. As Billy and Adam prepare to leave Billy's house with the completed regenerator to meet up with Tommy, the girls and Rocky, Rito suggests to Goldar that they follow them. Goldar halts Rito and reminds him that they have to report back to Lord Zedd, but Rito presses on that they follow the two Rangers and grab the Power Coins when they're all together. Rito's plan actually works, although only Billy is able to escape the spell.
- With Catlike Tread: While following Young Billy and Young Adam, Rito constantly makes noise, forcing him and Goldar to hide. And he blames Goldar for making the noise.
